WILL NOT TURN ON

When an electric stove doesn’t turn on, first check if the appliance is plugged in and that all circuit breakers are switched on. You should check the pilot light on gas appliances. If the stove is plugged in or if the pilot light is burning, then some other part of the oven will have to be fixed. The cause of the problem could be an surface element, infinite switch, oven burner igniter or bake and broil element.

OVEN WON’T HEAT

A burner or stove or oven without produce heat won’t do much. An oven doesn’t heat when there is a broken oven sensor or a malfunctioning bake element. Your burner won’t ignite if an element breaks or the burner switch or terminal block don’t work. OVEN IS VERY HOT

You need a hot oven. Just not too hot! When the oven heat is out of control, it might be because of a problem with the sensor or thermostat. Our appliance repairmen know how to find the cause of the issue and then repair it. Be careful when troubleshooting this problem for fear of burns from the very high and totally unpredictable heat.

IGNITER DOESN’T LIGHT

A reoccurring stove issue is that an igniter glows but will not light. The cause is sometimes from a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or temperature sensor. We can determine if we are able to fix these appliance parts or if we will have to replace the part.

DOOR DOESN’T OPEN

New self-cleaning ovens can have door issues. The door will not open after the oven cleans itself. We inspect the door latch, thermostat and seal to troubleshoot why the door won’t open up and then complete the repair so we can resolve the issue.
