Q. WHAT IS BETTER? REPAIRING OR REPLACING A BROKEN APPLIANCE?

A. With a broken appliance inside of your home you have two choices. One option is to schedule appliance repair and attempt to cut costs. If that is successful, you can continue to use your oven, dishwasher, refrigerator or washing machine and dryer. The second option is to replace the unit.

All appliances come with an average lifetime. With a broken appliance in the early or middle range of that average lifetime, we would recommend calling our appliance repair service. When the home appliance is near the end of its expected lifetime, we suggest replacing the appliance with a newer model assuming your budget allows.

These are the expected lifetimes of each model of appliances:

Dishwasher: 10 years
Washer: 11 years
Dryer: 14 years
Refrigerator: 15 years
Gas Ovens: 15 years
Electric Stove: 15 years
Freezer: 15 years

Q. DO YOU OFFER WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES AS PART OF YOUR SERVICE?

A. Yes. Our service features a 12-month warranty on all appliance parts and our labor. Our repairmen use manufacturer replacement parts for Whirlpool, LG, Wolf, Jenn-Air and many other popular brands of appliances to ensure we preserve the manufacturer’s warranty. Q. WILL YOU FIX MY APPLIANCE DURING THE INITIAL SERVICE?

A. Yes! It’s our goal to perform the repair during the first appointment. Throughout the years we have been serving customers, we estimate our repairmen are successful in repairing home appliances with one appointment about 90% of the time. We carry most of the standard replacement appliance parts in our vans plus all of the necessary tools to complete the job. If we do need to reschedule to complete the repair, there will be no additional cost.

Q. WHAT IS THE SERVICE WINDOW FOR A SERVICE CALL?

A. When you schedule an appointment from Pride Appliance Repair, we will give you a one to three hour timeframe for when our repairman will be at your home. Then, our technicians will give you a call 15 to 20 minutes in advance of their arrival. We understand how important {our your time is. That’s why we try our best to be punctual. Because some services require more time than anticipated, we give our technicians some breathing room to complete one job and not be late for the following job.
